M+NLB is providing medical equipment planning services for the Harris County Hospital District (HCHD) new Radiation Treatment & Diagnostic Treatment Center. This building is a $68.6 million five-story outpatient clinical facility, adjacent to HCHD Administration. M+NLB is providing medical equipment planning services for this project which includes a Cancer Center, Outpatient Imaging Center, Women’s Breast Center and Clinics spaces. The expansion is expected to accommodate an additional 32,800 specialty clinic visits per year.
Additionally, M+NLB is providing medical equipment planning services for HCHD and LBJ Hospital on the new Emergency Center. The expansion of 50,000 square feet of space will ultimately add new areas to the EC, including units for psychiatry holding, infusion and dialysis. As expansion of the Emergency Center on the hospital's east side continues, construction of a new 83,000 square foot specialty clinic building is to be completed in 2012. The 3 story building will house current clinics located in the hospital's first floor, as well as, a Radiology department and a Outpatient Surgery department including 4 operating rooms, PACU and Central Sterile.
